Amazing Ministry…

Yesterday we had an absolutely amazing day in the ministry. Each of us had our own experiences that emphasised the thirst for truth..

Jess… It was a good morning in San Pedro!  Everybody here has soooo many studies, some sisters having up to 10 each. All I wanted was one! Anyway, Jehovah answered. I was working with this sister, she is back here for 3 weeks before going to pioneer school. It was my turn, so I knocked on this door. A girl around 18 years old answered. She was in a pretty happy mood considering she was moping up  water that had come into her kitchen from the heavy rain the night before. She asked if we were Mormans, so we said no, but JW. She said she had been studying the Bible teach book before she moved. She still had her Bible, but was going to ask her Mom to send over the Bible teach book in the post. She asked us how long we were on the Island for and then asked if one of us would be willing to continue her study with her!! I cant wait to go back and see her with a new grey Bible for her and a new book too.

Nikita… Yesterday, I was working with a lady who is visiting from England to see her previous Bible study get baptised. Despite the dogs growling at us, we had some amazing calls. My first door was with a young man who lives on the mainland. I gave him the invitation and December magazines, and just before leaving, he asked me more questions about the convention. He speaks mainly Spanish but was learning English, and my accent didn’t really help the conversation! He told me that he was going to get time off work next Saturday to come to the assembly and asked where can he find us at the assembly. Hopefully he will be able to make it! We then decided to do some business territory, and called on a man who works in a grocery shop… after a long conversation about world government, he asked for the meeting times and directions to the Kingdom Hall, and left some brochures with him in .

Assie… I worked with a brother from the Creol congregation. He gave up his job in the US a few years ago and moved to Belize to assist in the ministry.  After a few really good calls we walked past a small street cafe where a man was sitting. Too cut a long story short after about 40 min, he agreed to a Bible study. Now both Chris and I really wanted to conduct the study. So we asked the man which language he preferred and he said English and Creol …so we were both eager for him to make his choice : if Creol then Chris would take it and English, I would have the privilege.  We asked him the million $ question :”What is the language of your heart”….He thought about it and replied “Creol”…..So Chris has made plans to start the study in the next few days ☺

  1. Hello Assie and family (not sure if you’ll remember me Assie – I was the brother sat with you at the recent Kingdom Ministry school at Bristol; we walked and chatted in the car park…)

I’m absolutely loving hearing of the work you are doing and the blessings from Jehovah you are receiving as Need Greaters.

It is so wonderful to hear of the positive response to the Good News… The challenges are clear to see, but the blessings seem to out strip the challenges ten-fold!

    Please keep the updates coming…

May Jehovah bless you all as you work to make His purpose known and to bring people ‘Good News of something better’ (Isaiah 52:7)
