A sister in the congregation with 3 small  children who was baptised in the past year told us the following experiences today while out on the ministry. Recently  the landlord of the property where they were renting found out that she had become a witness. As the landlord was a staunch catholic , she gave them 3 weeks notice. Initially this was challenging for her family , especially as finding other suitable accommodation on the island can be difficult. Jehovah provided and they found a bigger, more comfortable apartment, closer to their work , the kingdom hall and a better school for the same rent. They moved everything out on the Monday morning and later on that day  the landlords electric golf cart’s battery exploded causing their old apartment to catch fire.

She related another experience from this week. As she could not get to the meeting on Sunday, she decided to listen to watchtower audio file on Monday. She asked her Boss if she could use headphones while working in the supermarket as she would really like to listen to something. The boss’s reply “If you going to listen to something , we all want to hear it” . So they played the watctower reading over the sound system  , through the whole supermarket (This Sunday’s watchtower – Seeing Jehovah’s hand in your life). The result was that a few colleagues started asking questions and the boss has requested a bible study.

Glad to also report the sisters husband is also studying. 🙂
