We have had an amazing time in the ministry. Bronwyn has started 2 Bible studies. The one has been on the island for 6 years and didn’t think anyone on the island would read the Bible regularly.So when called on she was very surprised. She came from the mainland where her mom and gran would often read her the Bible. When Bronwyn met her she immediately accepted a study which is going really well and she has attended her first meeting. The second Bible study is a teenager and interestingly both studies chose the chapter on Gods purpose for the earth when initially called on.

I have the privilege of conducting 3 bible studies. One is with my friend David who I started studying with on my last visit. He gave me a big hug when he saw me and we picked up where we left off. We study twice per week early in the morning , on the pier in front of his diving shop, enjoying some fresh banana bread. He attended the meeting last Sunday and will hopefully be there on Thursday with his girlfriend.

The other is with a man from Jamaica. The study was handed over by a brother leaving the island and its a well established study , conducted under some large trees at his house next to the lagoon. Only problem is that he says the croc’s sometime pull up on to the bank where we are sitting….so one to watch out for. He is also attending the Sunday meetings.

Third study is with a young man who is a waiter in a local restaurant. Still early days but its progressing really well.
