Our First Saturday Ministry in Belize

Saturday was our first time in the ministry in Belize. Wow!! What an amazing experience!! We were all assigned to work with local brothers and sisters to help us understand some of the local customs. We travelled to the territory on  golf carts (the local transport) and were assigned different blocks to do in San Pedro Town. The territory consisted of mainly small shop witnessing and the homes around and above the stores – sometimes just a room and bathroom for those who travel to the island for work and do long shifts.(See Pics).

It was the first day of the invitation campaign for the regional assembly which will be held on the mainland in December. It will be interesting to see how many attend.

Everybody eagerly listens to you. On the rare occasions when they did not seem interested, they would still listen and often take the literature. After first call, Bronwyn had the privilege of joining a sister on a study which was conducted on the beach with a Mayan lady who sells jewellery – she loved it.

We look forward to joining the congregation out in the ministry again tomorrow.. Hopefully some more encouraging experiences to follow…
