Our First Sunday experience

The San Pedro English meeting is held at 10am. It takes about 15 minutes for us to walk to the hall. The direct route is still flooded so we found another way which bypasses the flooded road. There were 5 visitors from the mainland and Costa Rica. All together there were around 45 in attendance. It was good to meet the rest of the congregation as not all were there last Thursday due to the weather!! What a lovely congregation  – All are very friendly and made as welcome.

After the meeting, me (Jess) and Nikita were invited out by a few sisters our age and their younger sisters to swim in the sea at the piers. It was so much fun! It was funny as Kelly ( aged 5,) asked me why I have a hat so I just said cos its hot. 5 minutes later she comes up to me and asks me if I serve Jehovah. I replied and asked her the same. Kelly said she does and that as a witness we must share – and then I realised she really wanted to wear my hat!!! 😛
