Celebrating our Anniversary ..Dinner at the ‘Rain’ rooftop restaurant
Tubing in the canals
Last Sunday after the meeting, the weather was perfect. We went tubing in the mangrove canals between the islands , with some brothers and sisters in the congregation. The one brother owns a boat and met us at the southern point of the island on this little dock We drove down south on the cart to meet him there. It was awesome! Some were tubing, some were sunbathing. Below are the pics!!

Awesome paddle boarding….
Golf Carting ……..to the South of the island for a swim with the brothers.
The road from the town of San Pedro in either direction is only paved for a short distance. From there on you are on sand roads…very wet sand roads. As the island has numerous lagoons and swamps travelling can be quite an adventure as we found out in the past few days.

Swimming …you need to watch out for crocs ….
Nikita jumping rope with the locals in the area…
Getting to know the island and our way around it!
Before the rain…
The local Bakery- delicious fresh bread sold 7am every morning!

Glad your there safe and sound. Love all your pictures. Were those large cakes in NY made of candy? Post some pictures of the locals in Belize and your accommodation and area where you are living please.
Love Lee and the family. (The Saps).
